The smallest good act today is the capture of a strategic point from which, a few months later, you may be able to go on to victories you never dreamed of. “Put on the whole armour of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.” ~ Ephesians 6:11- 18 ~
For your prayers, thank you. Today is the first day since Christmas I’ve felt back on the road to good health. In southside Virginia a pernicious upper respiratory illness has been making the rounds and people have literally been sick since Christmas. In addition to my holistic health practitioner, I’ve found an excellent GP who prescribed antibiotics and they are working.

So glad that you are feeling better! My Mama, who is never sick!, was sick and house bound for almost a YEAR! She now feels “normal” again, praise the Lord! She made the comment that maybe as someone who is not sick, maybe she didn’t really appreciate that fact, and so now she truly does.

Dear Sandra ~ So glad to read this post saying your are feeling so much better. I pray you will continue to get better with each new day.
Great quotes and the one by Karen Salmansohn, oh so true. Hanging around the wrong people can make us ill, mentally, spiritually and physically.
We definitely need the whole armor of God for our protection and living life each day to the fullest.
Be well dear Sandra ~ FlowerLady

Good Day Rainey, once on my blog I said something about dumping people who were bad for me. Someone had a fit; said they would NEVER do such a thing, it was rude, etc. The only thing I could think was, you’re better at letting the right people IN than am I. I seem to let anyone in and then, sometimes, suffer the consequences.

I may steal one of those Lewis quotes for FB. 😉

Glad you’re getting better!
