What a wonderful and helpful and inspiring post, dear Sandra!! I am so happy to read it here and now and put it in my heart in all these situations around me and for me and friends, who are sometimes in hard situations, where only to be patient can help. THANK YOU! The photo with the soul and crown is my absolute favourite!! I have several drawings in my bible about "soul and crown". Can you send this photo to me by mail for a very good friend of me? (WITH TEXT)

Love and greetings from Dori from Bavarian Forest

Yes, Dori, sent the photo to you; please let me know if it's not what you wanted and I'll do best to correct. Pray OUT LOUD and use the name of Jesus frequently (in love) because satan cannot stay where the name of Jesus is spoken. We are daughters and sons of the Most High Jehovah, Creator of Creation and He has a plan…a plan to prosper us and to cause good in our lives. We are Sunday people!

Did i tell you I gave up my safe, easy, permanent job for a month-month stint of something else? So, anyway, I'm not getting past the first word from Ecclesiastes. The end is better than the beginning. That's what I'm holding on to half way through the stint! Ephesians 3:20 xx

No Mags, you did not; are you happier with the new job? Yes, to the end being better than the beginning. God has a plan and He will restore the years the locust has eaten. HOLD ON!

Bless you, Dori. Since Dave's death, I believe my faith life has grown but it's been more than difficult. Many times, I would like to give up but if we don't go on, where will we go?

That one reminds me of the first vacation Dave and I ever took. With another man, who fancied himself a sea captain AND convinced us of his abilities (turns out they were very small indeed!), we rented a 36 foot yacht and sailed the British Virgin Islands. Due to Dave being waylaid with flea bitten ankles and the other guy feeding the fishes, I ended up manning the help. The sea was ROUGH and the next landfall to our east was Africa. Another time when God's grace and mercy helped me and saved us all.

oh dear – the getting of wisdom requires so many spells in the Patience Time Out space – great reminders and I pray for your patience and eventual wonderful outcomes!

Sandra, perfect timing with today's Sabbath theme. Have you been reading my mail lately? Maybe you wrote it for yourself but so timely for me. I love the Napoleon Hill quote–must google him as I remember he's showed up before here–and especially love the De Sales quote because I always most need patience with myself and fresh courage is needed as well as persistence and perspiration. Three P's, I need to memorize them.

    Bless you,
    Dewena

Yes, Dewena, always preaching to the choir first. Napoleon Hill was a great encourager, self-help tycoon who wrote "Think and Grow Rich"…tapping into "mind over circumstances" is one way to put it. His quote of the day is well worth signing up to receive.
