“For I am the Lord, I do not change;
Bring all the tithes into the storehouse,
That there may be food in My house,
And try Me now in this,”
Says the Lord of hosts,
“If I will not open for you the windows of heaven
And pour out for you such blessing
That there will not be room enough to receive it.
~ Malachi 3:6 and 10 ~
The Lord will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to.
The Lord your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.
~ Deuteronomy 28:8 ~
“Not in rewards but in the strength to strive, the blessing lies.”
~ J. T. Towbridge ~
“Our prayers should be for blessing in general,
because God knows what is best for us.”
~ Socrates ~
“When I started counting my blessings,
my whole life turned around.”
~ Willie Nelson ~
“When we lose one blessing,
another is often,
most unexpectedly,
given in its place.”
~ C. S. Lewis ~
“It is one of the blessings of old friends that you can afford to be stupid with them.”
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson ~
“Prayers go up and
blessings come down”
~ Yiddish proverb ~
“Ask God’s blessing on your work, but don’t ask him to do it for you.”
~ Dame Flora Robson ~
“Give thanks for unknown blessings already on their way.”
~ Anonymous~
“Hem your blessings with thankfulness so they don’t unravel.”
~ Anonymous ~
“Get rich quick!
Count your blessings!”
~ Anonymous ~

“our very best plans
are counterfeit to what God has in store for us.”
~ ann kiemel ~
“Now when he saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, and he began to teach them, saying:
Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst
for righteousness, for they will be filled.
Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called sons of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are you when people insult lyou, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”
~ Matthew 5 ~

I like Ann Kiemel's quote best, so true.

    Hello Sandra:
You are constantly in our thoughts but always on a Sunday, when you post 'Sabbath-Keeping', particularly so. And today is, of course, no exception.
