Sabbath Keeping

“I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.  Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts. I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works. And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness. They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness. The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.” ~ Psalms 145:1-8 ~

It’s the life in your years.”

for God is passing by.”

Love your choice of scripture here. I wrote about Psalm 139 today and how awesome God is!

I agree with LindaSue, the quote by Helen Keller strikes a real note with me.And truly, it is the many small and insignificant things in our lives that mark us for who we truly are. Thank-you again Sandra for this thoughtful and meaningful post chock full of quotes that really do say it all, and then some.

And dear Lord-blessings on Sandra and David. Blessings on those in need, that we humans may have passed over. Give us the ability to see those as you see them and to hold them up to the highest. Amen.

The Helen Keller quote is going into my collection of reminders – thank you. Brings to mind a good John Wesley quote
"Do all the good you can, By all the means you can, In all the ways you can, In all the places you can, At all the times you can, To all the people you can, As long as ever you can."
Thank you Sandra for doing good for so many and bless you this coming week – you and Dave remain in our prayers.

Bless the LORD, O my soul,
And all that is within me, bless His holy name.
Psalm 103 says: 'Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits; Who pardons all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion; Who satisfies your years with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle.' Thank YOU Lord for your grace, mercy and peace…
