All wonderful quotes, Sandra. But I must say ~ that is probably the only wise thing Jim Carrey has ever said! :~?
Thank you for continuing to pray for Liz and her sons ~ They seem to be doing well and haven't 'hit the wall' yet. I pray that they will avoid it all together, through His strength!
Bless you for your thoughtfulness and prayer on behalf of them!

    Hi Sandra,
New follower here…. and soon to be Virginian and nearby neighbor.
Loving your blog, thanks for the hard work!
The GW Carver quote spoke to me this AM….
"How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young,
compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving
and tolerant of the weak and the strong.
Because someday in life you will have been all of these." Thanks for posting it!

I have heard this saying before, but it has been awhile since the last time I heard it, "Life is like a coin. You can spend it any way you wish, but you only spend it once." I don't want to live my life by default, I want to, with the Lord's help, to live life on purpose. Micah 6:8 is one of the pointers the Bible gives me on living on purpose, do what is good, do justice, love kindness and walk in humility before God. Thank you for your thoughts today.

AMEN! expend every resource because we get a whole new never emptying source in Glory.
"The Bible says that, “He who raised up the Lord Jesus will also raise us up with Jesus” (2 Corinthians 4:14). Our future is filled with optimism and hope because we know that someday we will be like Him. We cannot lose heart and settle for a bag-lunch life when a heavenly feast beyond all imagination awaits us!" David Jeremiah

Bless you dear Bennetts – two legged and four

Sandra, I love your quotes this morning. Especially the one by C. S. Lewis.

"You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream."

It takes on a whole new meaning now that I'm old 🙂

Have a great 4th of July!
