 ~ spring “worm” moon ~
“There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens…”
~ Ecclesiastes 3:1 ~
“It’s spring fever… You don’t quite know what it is you DO want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache,you want it so!” ~ Mark Twain ~

“All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost;
the old that is strong does not wither, deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken, a light from the shadows shall spring;
renewed shall be blade that was broken, the crownless again shall be king.”
~ J. R. R. Tolkien ~

“The day the Lord created hope was probably the same day he created Spring.”
~ Bern Williams ~

“Spring is when you feel like whistling even with a shoe full of slush.”
~ Doug Larson ~

“If there comes a little thaw,
Still the air is chill and raw,
Here and there a patch of snow,
Dirtier than the ground below,
Dribbles down a marshy flood;
Ankle-deep you stick in mud.
In the meadows while you sing,
This is Spring.”
~ Christopher Pearce Cranch ~

“A little madness in the Spring is wholesome even for the King.” ~ Emily Dickinson ~

“Winter is on my head but eternal Spring is in my heart.”
~ Victor Hugo ~

“Spring has returned. The Earth is like a child that knows poems.” ~ Rainer Maria Rilke ~

“In the spring, at the end of the day, you should smell like dirt.”
~ Margaret Atwood ~

“No winter lasts forever; no spring skips its turn.”  ~ Hal Borland ~

“In the Spring a livelier iris changes on the burnish’d dove; In the Spring a young man’s fancy lightly turns to thoughts of love.” ~ Alfred, Lord Tennyson ~

 “For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone;
The flowers appear on the earth;
the time of the singing of birds is come,
and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;
The fig tree putteth forth her green figs,
and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell.”
~ Song of Solomon 2:11-13 ~

    Lovely. Spring around here is squishy with a wan lemony sun, but sunshine it is, and the frogs croaking loudly tell us it is really spring time. New things are coming, Praise God!

    Carrie shared this today, Sandara ~

    The first day of spring is one thing, and the first spring day is another.
    The difference between them is sometimes as great as a month.
    ~Henry Van Dyke

    Hope you are both doing well, prayers continue to lift for you.

    Have a beautiful week ~
