Sabbath Keeping

 ~ Dry Run Creek ~
“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together,
and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye
mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”
~ Luke 6:38 ~

“Lord, I crawled across the bareness to you with my empty cup,
uncertain in asking any small drop of refreshment.
If only I’d known you better I’d have come running with a bucket.”
~ Nancy Spiegelberg ~

“A good memory is one that can remember the day’s blessings and forget the day’s troubles.”
~ proverb ~

“A man without ambition is dead.
A man with ambition but no love is dead.
A man with ambition and love for his blessings here on earth is ever so alive.
~ Pearl Bailey ~

“A sense of blessedness comes from a change of heart, not from more blessings.” ~ Mason Cooley ~

“Prayers go up and blessings come down.” ~ proverb ~

 “God will not permit any troubles to come upon us, unless He has a specific plan by which great blessing can come out of the difficulty.” ~ Peter Marshall ~

“You can’t outgive God.” ~ Gladys Bennett ~

“Blessed are those who give without remembering, and blessed are those who take without forgetting.”
~ Bernard Meltzer ~

“May God be gracious to us and bless us
   and make his face shine on us
so that your ways may be known on earth,
   your salvation among all nations.
 May the peoples praise you, God;
   may all the peoples praise you.
May the nations be glad and sing for joy,
   for you rule the peoples with equity
   and guide the nations of the earth.
May the peoples praise you, God;
   may all the peoples praise you.
 The land yields its harvest;
   God, our God, blesses us.
 May God bless us still,
   so that all the ends of the earth will fear him.”
~ Psalm 67 ~

    God is so good in the midst of such a trail as this. What an awesome hug from Him to have family gathered around. 🙂

    Woke during the night and wondered what I was supposed to be doing – praying seemed the only logical answer (I didn't have to go to the bathroom which is unusual for this old gal in middle of the night!) – so sweet to have time in the dark quiet to talk to Abba Father – He knows about your current situation and reassures it will be used for a purpose which we are not able to understand right now. So Happy SonDay and bless you two as this journey continues.
