Tonia, life is seasons and seasons mean change; it's all good when we strive to accept God's will. His plans for me are all good and believing that makes it easier to accept His will.

YAY! "Yet I am learning"!!! Stupid folks annoy me, Quinn, and that woman might not be stupid but she's sure insensitive and ignorant. My Bachelor degree was attained when I was 34 then I stopped. I've never wanted a Master's bad enough to actually go back to school. I do keep reading, studying, taking various classes, learning and it's all good.

It takes a MATURE person to go back to college as an older person. To sit in a class with people 15 to 20, or more, years younger takes courage and fortitude. As an adult student, it didn't bother me, at all, to take on a "professor" when they said something disagreeable or wrong.
    YAY, Quinn!!

All is well, Karen; I tell people the library is full of stuff I don't know -grin-.

Jane, I'm thankful the quotes bring you goodness.

Deborah, you are SO right…life IS interesting!

Lisa, use to your heart's content!

Martha, it gives me pleasure to know you enjoy them.

Oh Goatldi, I'm not sure I want Sabbath Keeping to be "comfortable"…I want your heart to be stirred, your mind to be quickened and your soul to be touched. Not asking for much, am I? lol

    Lynne…NEVER!

Nice the whole lot of them. I love the way I always learn and think when you do a Sabbath page. Not that your other comments don't have the same effect. Somehow the Sabbath is just more "comfortable".

I especially love the Michel de Montaigne quote! It gives me hope that there's still time to learn a new instrument and Irish dancing, lol! I collect your quotes because I just know I'll want to use some of them later! 😉

    Great quotes, Sandra!
Every day is a learning day! I'm so thankful for libraries and bookstores and well . . . Amazon!

I hope you are doing well. I hope the coming of fall means cheerful things for you.

I've supported myself since I was 17, and always wanted to go to college. I finally took my first class at age 27, and started working toward an Associate's and then a Bachelor's degree, always working multiple low-paying jobs to keep body and soul together and the cats healthy and the mortgage paid. It took a long time – got my Bachelor's degree at 33. Then I worked as a biologist and began taking night classes toward a Master's degree in a different field to stretch my mind in another direction. At one of my jobs when I was in my late-30s a woman I worked with once said to me in a way that was meant to be joking but had an undertone of criticism which really stung, "You're still going to school and you are in your 30s? When are you going to GROW UP?!"
Luckily, I gave her an honest answer without reacting emotionally: "I hope to keep growing. That's biology, that's how life works. You are either growing or you are dead."
(I got my Master's at 40. That was a long time ago now. But…still growing!)

It upset me to see you were selling the farm. I know how much I love my little one. And this made me even more aware. I truly prayed it is what you want to do and not a regret. I'm praying for God's peace for his child whatever the outcome.
    Love in Christ
