“Don’t waste your breath on fools, for they will despise the wisest word.”
~ Psalm 23:9 ~
“Feelings come and go like clouds in a windy sky.
 Conscious breathing is my anchor.”
~ Thich Nhat Hanh ~
“Sometimes it’s the same moments that take your breath away
that breath purpose and love back into your life.”
~ Steve Maraboli ~
“Remember to breath.
It is, after all, the secret to life.”
~ Gregory MacGuire ~
“Breathing easily and fully
is one of the basic pleasures of being alive.”
~ Alexander Lowen, The Voice of the Body ~
“Quoting Father Seraphim: Our life hangs only by a breath. It is the thread that links you to the Father, the Source, which brings you into being. Be conscious of this thread and go where you will.” ~ Jean-Yves Leloup ~
“And when he had said this,
He breathed on them, and said to them,
“Receive the Holy Spirit.”

I am finding remembering to breath is an important part of my wake up, remember what is your new reality and – oh yeah – BREATHE. Beautiful post as always – church was hard when they recognized the veterans – one less faithful person to stand up.

    Hello Sandra:
As always, the words which you include in your Sabbath Keeping posts become an inspiration for the week ahead.

Keep praying for my daddy, Wayne. He's going in for a second opinion this Friday.

Please pray for my six-year-old grand daughter who has juvenile arthritis that she can have health and healing, my oldest son who has abandoned the Christian faith he was raised with that he will rediscover his faith and return to his family, and my youngest son who is questioning everything and needs guidance for his future, that God will guide him and help him find and keep faith in Jesus Christ. Thanks for adding this to the prayer list. God bless you through this coming week. Thank you so much for the prayers.

    Hi Sandra,
This is a lovely, peaceful post. God's Word is so comforting. Thank you for adding me to your prayer list. I will pray for others too. I'm glad we all have Jesus, no matter what happens. HE will always be there and will always be the same and He will always love us.
Oh, and hope your vacation was a fun one. Glad you're back all safe to the Home-20.
    God bless!
    Pamela 🙂

Fr. Seraphim of the quote above is no doubt the man for whom my parish church is named, St. Seraphim of Sarov. 🙂 I love that quote, which I hadn't seen before. And I wasn't familiar with the man quoting him, either. Thanks, Sandra!
