Attitude & Heroes

by Sandra Bennett

~ Meri Go Lightly, some say her best side ~

“Cowgirl is an attitude, really. A pioneer spirit, a special American brand of courage. The cowgirl faces life heard on, lives by her own lights, and makes no excuses. Cowgirls take stands, They speak up. They defend the things they hold dear. A cowgirl might be a rancher, or a barrel racer, or a bull rider, or an actress. But, she’s just as likely to be checker at the local Winn Dixie, a full-time mother, a banker, an attorney, or an astronaut.”   ~ Dale Evans Rogers, 1992 ~

I have three couples as heroes in my life:
Roy Rogers and Dale Evans
Billy and Ruth Graham
Jim and Gladys Bennett

 My life overflows.

Blessings ~ heroes ~ cowgirls ~ cowboys ~ taking a stand ~ defending things we hold dear ~  speaking up, for ourselves and those who are afraid ~ attitude ~

Grace and Peace,
Sandra

There was a time I wanted to be a cowgirl but never really got the chance to be a "REAL" cowgirl. We just bought Hunter (my 2 year old grandson) his first pair of real cowboy boots. It was priceless to see him walking out of the store with them on..I wished I had a picture

    Hello Sandra,
    Hope you are well.

Concerning the word focussing…I checked the spelling of that particular word before posting it.

On-line dictionary gives both spellings of focussing and focusing as ways to spell the word that has the same definition.

    Blessings and smile on,
    d
