God and dog.

God and dog.

As wonderful as vacation has been, it’s lacking one huge thing…the lack of dogs. Our dogs, to be specific . Folks who live with their dogs as companions, know what we mean. Our dogs are family and even though we weren’t able to bring them with us, God is here as He is everywhere. That’s the peace that passeth understanding, knowing we’re never alone.

Until next time,

Blessings ~ dogs ~ beach ~ sky ~ holiday ~ God ~

    You know I understand completely!

This new house isn't HOME until the critter kids are all settled in and comfy.

we don't really travel so this isn't an issue with us – but I understand the feeling – our dogs are part of our daily life – usually the part that is laughing!

The nicest part of coming home Wednesday was doggy smiles!

ms. sandy, as you know, i haven't been down here in a while. I've been trying to help spread links to the relief operations in the philippines (and now indonesia and samoa). i thank you for your visit to my site. now i hesitate to but would like to ask for a favor. would you post a short article directing your readers to my latest post called 'please give me back my smile' because it has links to relief organizations to said countries. hoping to touch more hearts and souls. thank you so much.

I always miss our dogs when we go on vacation and are unable to bring them along. I have finally decided any Pacific Ocean destination hotel that does not allow us to bring at least one dog does not need our money, as there are so many now that accommodate pet owners for a moderate ( $10.00 to $15.00 ) per night.

One of the pleasures of walking along the beach front is having a dog happily trotting along side or retrieving sticks. ( of course I am talking about a well behaved dog)
