This is a sad time of year for some people.
In the past I have never felt such a heavy heart.
I look at the men that have given up limbs and life for their
country. Then I take a look at the salary and benefits and retirement
@ $180,000.00 a year- for Life for the Govt, Senators etc.
Lets see if they will give up SOMETHING for their country.
Sorry… I am just frustrated. Have a Happy Thanksgiving.
Can't believe I am in such a mood.
Just put a flag on Hubby's grave too. Love ya Sandra

I am also the widow of a veteran and remarried to a man who served our country – daughter of a veteran – so I know well the costs to families of service and how precious that service IS and will be to our country. Thank you for this unique picture and information – and for being a dear friend – internet or next door – friendship expands our borders
