“The unfailing love of the Lord never ends. By His mercies we have been kept from complete destruction. Great is His faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each day.”
~ Lamentations 3:22-23 ~

“Though we are incomplete, God loves us completely.
Though we are imperfect, He loves us perfectly.
Though we may feel lost and without compass, God’s love encompasses us completely. … He loves every one of us, even those who are flawed, rejected, awkward, sorrowful, or broken.” ~ Dieter F. Uchtdorf ~

“Consider what you know to His immutability. Though you have changed a thousand times, He has not changed once.”
~ Charles Spurgeon ~

“God will not permit any troubles to come upon us, unless He has a specific plan by which great blessing can come out of the difficulty.” ~ Peter Marshall ~

“You are not what others think you are.
You are what God knows you are.”
~ Shannon L. Alder ~

“God loves us too much to indulge our every whim.”
~ Max Lucado ~

“We should be astonished at the goodness of God, stunned that He should bother to call us by name, our  mouths wide open at His love, bewildered that at this very moment we are standing on holy ground.” ~ Brennan Manning ~

“Too much of anything is dangerous unless it’s God’s Love.”
~ Reign ~

“The sin underneath all our sins is to trust the lie of the serpent that we cannot trust the love and grace of Christ and must take matters into our own hands.” ~ Martin Luther ~

“God proved His love on the cross.  When Christ hung, and bled, and died, it was God saying to the world, “I love you.”
~ Billy Graham ~

“The Christian does not think God will love us because we are good, but that God will make us good, because He loves us.” ~ C. S. Lewis ~

“…but God shows His love for us
in that while we were still sinners,
Christ dies for us.”
~ Romans 5:8 ~

Dewena, thank you so much! I love doing Sabbath Keeping, it always seems to be something God is trying to teach me and I love when others are fed as well. Bless you for saying!

Kathy, even now Martin Luther has a way of cutting straight to the truth, doesn't he?

Rainey, it's a blessing to know God is in control, isn't it? He has a plan (but sometimes I wish he'd share it).

    and amen again, Robbin!

    Marie – AMEN!

Hi Michelle – I aim to please (haha, get it? I'm such a wit!)

Hi Buttons…must be feeling better because I can't remember why I was feeling poorly . Thank you!

YES! Celeste, better late than never; Scripture always illumines no matter when we read it.

Lisa, thank you very much; I'm always happy when someone else feels His touch.

Dori, thank you and so glad the quotes speak to you as well. They are aimed at my heart and love it when they touch others.

The quote for me was the one by Peter Marshall.

"God will not permit any troubles to come upon us, unless He has a specific plan by which great blessing can come out of the difficulty."

All for His honor and glory.

Have a lovely week dear Sandra.

Oh I love these quotes, especially the quote by Martin Luther. I had never thought about sin that way ! Blessings to you Sandra, and prayers for you too.

Dear Sandra, I don't think I've ever said thank you for the time you put into Sabbath Keeping verses and quotes, but thank you so much! I've never read one that didn't seem to be just what I needed but today's is just like a message of God's love that's wrapped around me before I turn the lights out and head for bed. A perfect end to this Sabbath.

    God is so good!
