Taking a Break

by Sandra Bennett
TCF

30 Aug
“There are far, far better things ahead than any we leave behind.”
~ C. S. Lewis ~

There is simply nothing left to give.
Hopefully, that will change.
In the meantime, as God brings you to mind,
you’ll be tucked in prayer.
Please, return the kindness.

Hi Dori, thank you, love and prayers to you and yours.

Susan, bless you for your wisdom; I put my trust in Him.

I'm not sure what to say other than I'm in tears over your kindness to me. God has been so good to let me use the blog to tell other people He loves them. Thank you for letting me know you've been blessed.

(Now, please, please, please forgive me…I'm really struggling with my memory tonight and can't recall your name. I am so very sorry; please forgive me.)

    I almost did -lol-.

(Having huge problems with memory tonight; just am teary eyed and can't pull it together. Please forgive me for not recalling your name but I can see your face! Please forgive me.)

Thank you, Mrs. D., thank you.

Still looking, Lisa, still looking. She's a love bug though and might have to stay.

Not enough rest, Mary Katherine, but some.

Lisa – thank you so much.

It was a good break, just not long enough. I really need to be closer to family.

Thinking of you, Sandra, with prayers. You have been such a blessing to me and to so many others. I have a link to your blog on my smart phone so I can read entries from your blog at work (which is when I most need some common-sense Sandra!) Mostly, I snatch a glimpse as I hurry down the hall to a meeting or wait for the rest of the meeting participants to show up. I hope you didn't get tired out from attending all those meetings in Raleigh, LOL. You are really on my heart today; I will pray a little longer this weekend for you and all the things you have mentioned in your blog. Blessings.

Blessings to you my friend. Praying for our Lord to fill you up again. Asking Him to pour His love and grace and mercy into your life until He overflows. Then, once again, you will be able to share His love. There are many who need your wisdom . . . don't be gone too long :)!

You are where I have been "feeling" and tempted. I love blogging and all the friends I have made (& you are a special friend ), but sometimes it is good to step back and away.( from many things ) I know you're one to step in when you feel God wants you there, and also for others who need you. Bless you Sandra.

May you find rest for your soul, as our Savior promises us. He bizarrely says this comes with his yoke, which you've carried a long way. Love to you.
