Quick! Please Pray

by Sandra Bennett

~ my happy, healthy and safe sheep ~

Please pray for farmers and their livestock in Northern Ireland. It’s dreadful…sheep are being buried alive only to die with their lambs, born or unborn. Farmers cannot get hay to their sheep and all are in dire circumstances; livelihoods are being torn asunder, lives are being lost, households are without electricity, schools are closed…the weather is brutally bitter…please pray!

Blessings ~ folks all over the world, praying for Northern Ireland farmers ~

This is a tad late but since I'm all Irish-all my grandparents came over, I'm here now praying for all the farmers, families and animals.
    Hugs again.

I wanted to thank you for your visit and kind words. I loved the phrase 'womens work' and your reference to canning. To often I hear womens work said in a derogatory fashion and it makes me sad at the loss and loss of a womans value. You have given me a lovely idea for a new post thank you again. I have a nice cup of tea and a biscuit and I shall continue to look at your most interesting and delightful pages.

Poor things! I do apologize for being late to the party, but am praying. I haven't even watched the news or read the blogs or anything in my usual routine, we've been so busy this week. Thanks for bringing this to all our attention.

Hallo, dear Thistle, in this very moment I heard by TV, that the Federal Armed forces are throwing a lot of hay down from heliocopters to the poor Irish sheep.

    Praize the Lord!

May the earth be soft for you when you rest, tired at the end of the day.
    Irish blessing

Dear Thistle, this moves my heart so deap! Christ, the innocence lamb must die and so many innicent lambs with him, too. So lets wait for a new earth and a new heaven, where equity is living…

Sandra, and all above, thank you so very much for this. Yesterday Councils started sending out tractors to clear side roads, and there is talk of the Territorial Army being called out to rural areas to help the farmers' crisis. Apparently electricity was due to be restored to the last many homes last night. May our gracious God send your blessing back abundantly to all your homes.

    An Irish Blessing:
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
    And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Will add to prayers. Hopefully their government gets help there in time. The plan of dropping hay in by helicopter would be good if they get on it right away. So sad, thanks for bringing this to our attention, our news media seems to miss what is important to a lot of us.

I'll add my prayers to those of the many who are asking God to protect the animals and help the farmers. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I had no idea.
