Marriage 101

~ love changes everything ~

Dave would tell me, “It’s my job to protect and provide for you and my family.”
I’d reply, “And it’s my job to take care of you.”

“Love, love changes everything
Hands and faces, earth and sky
How you live and how you die
Love, love can make the summer fly
Or a night seem like a lifetime
Yes love, love changes everything
Now I tremble at your name
Nothing in the world will ever be the same
Love, love changes everything
Days are longer, words mean more
Love, love changes everything
Pain is deeper than before
Love will turn your world around
And that world will last forever
Yes love, love changes everything
Brings you glory, brings you shame
Nothing in the world will ever be the same
Off into the world we go
Planning futures, shaping years
Love (comes in) and suddenly all our wisdom disappears
Love makes fools of everyone
All the rules we made are broken
Yes love, love changes everyone
Live or perish in its flame
Love will never never let you be the same
Love will never never let you be the same”
~ Andrew Lloyd Webber,
Love Changes Everything ~
Blessings ~ love ~ broken rules ~ protection ~ provision ~ safety ~ care ~ Dave ~

Love is wonderful and painful, comfortable and comforting. The memory of a love lost is a sorrow beyond description, and hurts so much.Beautiful poem, and the picture of you and your love shows two people who loved ~ and still do, love each other.

Oh, Sandra, I love this picture of you and Dave. Just adorable. And the words of the poem so true.

Of course this deep love makes your loss deep. So I continue to pray and send love.

    Fondly,
    Glenda

    Hello Sandra,
You've been in my thoughts a lot lately. This picture is beautiful and the poem? Well, if I say too much about it I'll start crying.

    Hugs,
    Jen

Thank God for photographs, eh Sandra! Even if they make you cry when you look at them, in a way they bring you comfort.
Your photo today is lovely. Your love for each other shines through. Perhaps it is not how long we have each other, but what we do have when we're together, that counts.
    Bless you.
