Sabbath Keeping

“This is the way; walk in it.” ~ Isaiah 30:21 ~
“Most of us die of something; of disease, accident, old age. But occasionally there appears in our midst a man who resolves to die for something, like Winkelried when he gathered the spears of the Austrians into his breast at the Battle of Sempach. This dying for something, instead of waiting to die of something, as most of us do, this deliberate dying for something deemed worthy of it, is the strongest form of self-affirmation I know of. The power and vitality of it are tremendous, and the stamp that it leaves on the world is indelible. The Christian religion is an example of it.” ~ L. P. Jacks ~
“We will all receive the invitation to be saved.
But it is up to us to RSVP.”
~ unknown ~
“If you want to please the Father, brag on His Son.”  ~ unknown ~
Three things God has never seen:

     1. A person that has not sinned. (Romans 3:23)
     2. A sinner he does not love. (John 3:16)
     3. A sinner he cannot save. (Romans 10:13)

“A soul without prayer is like lungs with no air.” ~ unknown ~
“My lifeguard walks on water.” ~ unknown ~
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”
~ II Corinthians 5:7 ~

If you’d like your name added to the prayer list, please let me know.

Awwwwwww……you made me homesick with that picture!!! I'm planning to run down for a weekend or more in August to visit my sis. Thanks for the great (as usual) Sabbath reading!

    Hello Sandra and Dave:
Somehow we always come to this on a Monday morning, but do, as others, appreciate these very sincere and thoughtful weekly posts.

    Thought provoking post… ie:
    1. A person that has not sinned. (Romans 3:23)
    2. A sinner he does not love. (John 3:16)
    3. A sinner he cannot save. (Romans 10:13)

Thank you Lord that these statements are true… if you can save and love a sinner like me there is hope for everyone.. thank you Lord for that encouragement and help me Lord to remember to pray.
