~ The Weaving, bookmarks ~
Between my Lord and me.
I cannot change the color
For He works most steadily.
Oft times He weaves the sorrow
And I in foolish pride
Forget He sees the upper
And I the underside.
Until the loom is silent
And the shuttle cease to fly,
Will God roll back the canvas
And explain the reason why.
The dark threads are as needful
In the skillful Weaver’s Hand
As the golden threads of silver
He has patterned in His Plan.”

The gift-away will close Friday, midnight, a week from today, and I’ll have them in the mail by the following Tuesday.

Oh my goodness. That poem brought tears to my eyes. I've not read it before but I'd certainly love to keep it near to read during good times and bad.

You have mine already, but I am so in awe of you in that you are going though so much and yet you are willing to give.
This poem has always meant so much to me, I heard Corrie Ten-Boom quote it once. I always hear her accent when I read it.
It is always a good reminder.
