Sabbath Keeping

Sabbath Keeping· TCF

 ~ Samuel Shetland ~

“Don’t just pretend that you love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Stand on the side of the good.” ~ Romans 12:9 ~

“Find a guy who calls you beautiful instead of hot, who calls you back when you hang up on him, who will lie under the stars and listen to your heartbeat, or will stay awake just to watch you sleep…wait for the boy who kisses your forehead, who wants to show you off to the world when you are in sweats, who holds your hand in front of his friends, who thinks you’re just as pretty without makeup on. One who is constantly reminding you of how much he cares and how lucky he is to have you… The one who turns to his friends and says, “that’s her”. ” ~ unknown ~

“For it was not into my ear you whispered,
but into my heart.
It was not my lips you kissed,
but my soul.”
~ Judy Garland ~

 “I have found the paradox, that if you love until it hurts, there can be no more hurt, only more love.”
~ Mother Teresa ~

“The hunger for love is much more difficult to remove than the hunger for bread.”
  ~Mother Teresa ~

“This is my beloved and this is my friend.” ~ Song of Solomon 5:16 ~

“Love is patient; love is kind
and envies no one.
Love is never boastful, nor conceited, nor rude;
never selfish, not quick to take offense.
There is nothing love cannot face;
there is no limit to its faith,
its hope, and endurance.
In a word, there are three things
that last forever: faith, hope, and love;
but the greatest of them all is love.”
 ~ Corinthians 13:4-7 ~

Blessings ~ love ~ hope ~ faith ~

Soli Deo Gloria,
Sandra

    Sandra, I will be coming back to read these words again. True love is special and unique, and God loves even the most unlovable of us…He will hold our hands and warm out hearts when no one else will.

    Still, the gift of a human that will love us better than any other person will, a glorious gift from God.

    Prayers for you and your love.

    Sandra, Beautiful words. I wish, as I am sure we all do, that I had a magic wand to wave. Our prayers are that magic wand. Maybe the grizzly bear needs to visit! Good luck! Do what you need to for Dave. Will pray for you both!
    Blessings,
    Colleen
